About Our Founder

Founder of Fashion Art - SUGAVANESWARI @ SUGUNA SHANMUGAM has earned her graduate degree in the commerce field. Her journey into the fashion sector began in 2009. Initially, she attended a tailoring class near her residence, but she found the experience unsatisfactory.
Driven by her passion for sewing, she enrolled in a school and completed her foundational courses. At that moment, she harbored a dream of establishing a fashion design institute. To make her dream a reality, she visited various institutions to learn about various embroidery, art, and crafttechniques, as well as to gain teaching experience in the fashion industry.
After acquiring knowledge and significant experience, she opened a small tailoring training center close to her home This center eventually trained over 150 students, many of whom started their own businesses.
Witnessing her growing confidence, she sought further experience by working at a well-known institute in Coimbatore for three years, serving as both a tutor and marketing staff.
This role did not fully satisfy her aspirations, so she pursueda Master's degree in Fashion Designing, which she excelled in. Following her graduation, she participated in numerous fashion shows in and around Coimbatore.
Her talent was recognized when she was named THE BEST CREATIVE DESIGNER OF TAMILNADU 2017 at a fashion show hosted by TEX VALLEY. She continued to work diligently towards her ultimate goal, and in 2017, she launched her Fashion Designing institute, FASHION ART, in Coimbatore.
Her journey is a testament to the fact that hard work always pays off. She is deeply passionate about her profession.
