FASHION ART Institute for creative skills was started on the 19th of October 2018. Here we undertake fashion designing classes for Women, so they can learn about the perfect design of fashion in this competitive world. We provide good quality of teaching with experienced faculties at the lowest fees in Coimbatore city. More than 700 students are learning in our institute & more than 500 students are learning through online mode.
We have the expertise to train students in Advanced Fashion designing, Fashion designing, Self-designing, Trendy designing, Traditional patterns, Tailoring, Aari Embroidery, Hand embroidery, and Machine embroidery classes. Regular classes are available on daily bases and weekend classes are available on Saturdays. We also conduct workshop classes on weekends.
We also have training on how to start a business and how to promote it on social media.We are also conducting photoshoots for fashion designing students every month without any cost and also Fashion designing students can participate in the FASHION SHOW conducted by us once in a year without any cost.
Our Story
Founder of Fashion Art - SUGAVANESWARI @ SUGUNA SHANMUGAM has completed her graduate degree in the commerce department. She started her journey in the fashion industry by the year of 2009. At first, she went to a class to learn about tailoring close to her house but the class was not satisfactory to herself. She was passionate to know more about stitching, so joined an institute and she completed her basic classes. At that time she had a dream to start a fashion design institute. To fulfill her dream and to step forward, she went to various Institutes to learn all types of embroidery works, artworks, crafts works, etc.. and to get teaching experience in the fashion field. After learning and with ample experience she started a small tailoring training center near her home to self-test herself, and then she trained over 150 students. Students who completed courses started their businesses from their home. By seeing that she gained confidence, she got experience from working in a reputed institute where she worked as a tutor and marketing staff in one of the famous Institute in Coimbatore for three years, that doesn't fulfill her dream, so she started with MASTER DIPLOMA IN FASHION DESIGNING course and graduated with flying colors. After that, she participated in more fashion shows in and around Coimbatore. She was awarded THE BEST CREATIVE DESIGNER OF TAMILNADU 2017 in the fashion show conducted by TEX VALLEY. She worked hard to achieve the 1 dream that has come true after 9 years with God's grace and she started her Fashion design institute FASHION ART in Coimbatore.
She also received the BEST ENTREPRENEUR 2022 award from business empress awards Salem, also received YOUNG ACHIEVER 2021 award from the phoenix book of world record & she had received WOMEN ENTREPRENEUR award for the year 2020 from kalam awards.
